Thermo Electron purchases and merges AER Corporation and Overly (floatation dryers) to form AER-Overly.
Thermo Electron purchases Lodding (doctors) and merges it with AER-Overly to form Thermo Electron Web Systems headquartered in Auburn, MA.
The AER-Overly segment of T.E. Web Systems was separated and became a new company called Airtherm Corporation headquartered in Longview, WA. The Lodding segment went on to become known as Kadant.
Airtherm purchases Fluidaire and begins marketing, design, installation and servicing Fluidaire products including sheet stabilization using airfoil technology.
Airtherm Corporation celebrates 30 years servicing the pulp and paper industry on June 1, 2016.
